Azhar Horo is an established artist from Yogyakarta with a unique pixelate painting style. He deconstructs big objects into their smallest component pixel, like in a digital image. His paintings come together from a few feet away when the whole composition forms an amalgamation. He takes an impressionist approach to his works in terms of capturing objects, while dissolving reality into abstraction. His works reveal how we can have varied visual perceptions, and hence how complex it is to validate reality.
