Bambang Herras was born in Bojonegoro on March 9, 1966. He started his art career at FSRD ISI Yogyakarta and graduated in 1994. Bambang Herras is active in exhibition events, social events, helping many street art workshops, making painting classes SAPAKU (Sahabat Pakuningratan). The basis of his painting is realism, he really likes human figures because his works take a lot of social themes, in the process of his work he really likes to meet many people, likes to observe problems around, likes to document local and global events. In addition, he really likes painting on the spot using Chinese ink as a fun painting activity and overflowing spontaneous energy. He created various types of works experimental media, such as wood, and steel. Now he uses a lot of oil, acrylic on canvas.
