Ida Ratnaningrum is an established surrealist artist from Indonesia. The exploration of bright colors with objects that seem to move dynamically is the hallmark of her paintings. Raised in an artist family, thanks to her father who was a Javanese puppeteer (wayang), since childhood Ida has been familiar with the process of making wayang on leather, the process of giving colors for wayang, as well as wayang painting on canvas.
