Joko Sulistiono, popularly known as Jokgun, is an established artist from Indonesia who employs a distinctive collage technique in his works. He cleverly uses paper clippings creating unique combinations of cyborg and fossil figures juxtaposing them with sharp lines and textures created with a palette knife. His works centre around socio-political issues, hedonism, consumerism and so on, which he visualizes and narrates with a clever sarcastic style. Jokgun is a very active artist, continuously improvising and experimenting with various styles such as realism and surrealism, and media such as 3D installation works with rocks, metals and so on.
