Jyoti C Singh Deo is a contemporary artist from Jharkhand and lives and works in Bangalore. Having spent her childhood in the coal belt of India, she was deeply influenced by the lives of coal mine workers, leaving an indelible mark on her creative vision. This influence is vividly reflected in her paintings.
She began her artistic journey with watercolors and later explored various other mediums, including oil, acrylics, enamel, charcoal, and more. In her latest works with ink on paper, she adopts a narrative style, weaving stories born from her creative imagination.
