Klowor Waldiyono is an award winning Expressionism artist from Indonesia. He is famous for his bold lines and vivid colors that accentuates the gravity of his naïve decorative expressionist paintings. His spontaneous lines, flexible yet firm, is an expression of his life’s journey full of twists and turns, and the fact that he could maintain a positive attitude, even in the most turbulent times. Klowor has this distinctive touch that gives a unique personality to his works. He uses the layered colouring technique that creates perfect color gradations, both for colorful and monochrome works. Klowor has won the UOB Art Award in 2011 and has been the finalist for the Phillip Morris Art Award multiple times.
