Rismanto is a realism painter from Indonesia with a strong and unique subject style. His background as an animator, can be viewed as the reason for his highly detailed paintings. Rismanto explores modes of transportation from traditional oxcarts to trucks and trains; as well as industrial machines to robots, all of which have rich symbolism and have strong allegorical interpretations.
