Very often present-day collectors and patrons obtain art, which is not original art, but is wall art in the form of editions, prints, or posters. Canvas prints are not original works of art but are only copies of works of art. However, frequently clienteles do not understand the difference between the original and print and invest in prints; later they feel misinformed. Investors necessarily must understand the difference between the range of prints too - original prints and limited-edition prints, edition prints, artist proofs and artist print for a clarity in understanding, and to provide their collection with an identity.

I personally do and would like to advise/suggest collectors to invest in original artworks:
To my understanding, our physical identities are more precisely envisaged as material flows rather than distinct and confined bodies, and accordingly we are required to employ all our senses to absorb everything around us and immerse ourselves within it. Handcrafted art creates the immersive aesthetic environment required for our emotional, social, spiritual, and physical well-being and survival. Built on sensory interactions, my art enacts the interaction and collaboration of species I associate with every day, that amaze and humble me, and facilitate my work. It is our senses that will help us build a just, and peaceful living world, one more closely adapted to life: to our interbeing with humans and earth others.
