Sometimes when the artist is completely alone, she sets out on an exhilarating journey, exploring the deep secrets of nature. A journey that leads seamlessly into an inward pilgrimage. The brilliant colours that comprise reality are the essence of nature. The artist experiences a relentless urge to capture that essence as she gazes upon that startling view of reality, shedding distractions and breaking through the artificial boundaries of everyday life. During those rare moments the artist’s very core becomes still as she watches and absorbs the enigma that lies beyond reality. She feels fortunate to be able to catch a fleeting glimpse of her soul when it downs on her that nature and her are one, and finds herself at peace.
